Remember Jesus

This past Sunday served as a reminder of God’s gracious act of redeeming humankind and forgiving our sins. Our Communion Service was characterized by the Hymn “How I Love Jesus” and, of course, a sermon on Jesus instituting the Lord’s Supper (Luke 22:19). I highlighted the fact that the Lord’s Supper is to be a constant reminder of Jesus, the Lamb of God, sacrificed for sinners, who died on the cross at Calvary so that our sins can be fully and forever forgiven! Thus, the observance of the Lord’s Supper can also be celebratory.

Oh, by the way, one soul repented and believed the gospel and surrendered his life to Jesus!
