Jesus Is Everything You Need

It is important to realize that Jesus is everything.

Often times men will attend our First Sunday service who have a non-Christian faith background. They feel that Jesus can supplement their existing religion quite nicely. The fact is that Jesus is not a supplement - He Himself is the Foundation and the very Core. He is Everything!

We started the New Year off right with this wonderful truth - Jesus is all we need! Colossians 1:15-19.

Paul illuminated the preeminence of Christ in Colossians 1:15-19. Here, Paul makes clear that Jesus is supreme over everything! Later in this same letter Paul emphasized that Jesus is “all, and is in all”, Colossians 3:11. Jesus is all a person needs to attain everything of spiritual significance from God.

Since Jesus is Supreme, and “all…”, He offers to every human being complete sufficiency for salvation, purpose, identity, and transformation. Also, Jesus’ supremacy makes Him the ultimate source for life's challenges, spiritual fulfillment, and eternal hope.

Because Jesus is all, ultimate satisfaction is found in Him. We know He is the creator and Sustainer of all things, and that He provides the path to eternal life and perfect forgiveness through His sacrifice!

If you are not saved and feel that there is something missing in your life - there is! When there is no union to Jesus by faith, everything is missing!

Jesus is Everything!
