God Is Good!

What a joy to experience God working in our difficult situations and circumstances!

I arrived at the prison for our monthly First Sunday Communion Service only to discover that our worship space had been taken by another group. This was the first time this has happened. Nevertheless, we occupied another location with less than desirable accommodations. On top of that, our communion cups for the Lord’s Supper did not arrive due to another issue. I ended up turning my sermon into a Bible study. What a blessing! What a blessing! God is good!

I used Romans 5:6-8 to lead the men in discussing the wonderful interceding work of God in their lives. Oh the testimonies the brothers shared! What gratitude the brothers expressed! Oh how God and Jesus were praised! Oh How the gospel was illuminated! Oh how their duty to fight the good fight and win souls for Christ was emphasized!

God is Good!
