Blessed to Be A Blessing
Praise be to God for a wonderful First Sunday Communion Service! We had a full house and more importantly one precious soul surrendered his life to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Preaching from Genesis 12:1-4, I reminded the brothers of the importance of trusting God from whom all blessings flow. Abraham trusted God. From that faith flowed obedience to do God’s will. God promised to bless Abraham and He did. God promised that Abraham would be a blessing to others and he was. When God blesses a man He gives that man spiritual benefits and permanent favor as a result of that man trusting Him. I encouraged the men in attendance to trust God and to be willing to be a blessing to others by being a godly example and by proclaiming and presenting Jesus in their day-to-day living and encounters with others.
Believers have been blessed so they can be a blessing to others. And the best blessing anyone can receive is a right relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ!
To God Be the Glory!
With Love and Blessings,
Pastor James
