Pressing On in a Sinful World

I am grateful to God for the men who faithfully attend our Communion Service each month. To be sure, the prison environment continues to present it’s challenges for these men. Sin continues to run its course both within and around these men. Even so, they/we are called to repent and press on. It is a blessing and encouragement to hear these faithful few speak of their desire to keep sharing the gospel amid their challenges and difficulties. Our First Sunday Communion and Worship Service is a blessing because it provides the opportunity for God’s servants to repent and be spiritually restored to serve God - knowing our sins have been forgiven. Praise God for the joy that comes from being restored to communion with Him after we fall short. Praise God for the opportunity to repent of our sins as we remember what Jesus did for us on the cross! Praise God and Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for enabling us to press on amid a sinful world!
